1. 01

   Fund a shielded wallet

   Zcash has two address types. Shielded addresses start with u1, transparent ones start with t1. Money moves freely between them.

   shld.fun settles to shielded addresses only, so you need a wallet that supports u1.

2. 02

   Create a trading wallet

   The platform generates a wallet for you. Save the seed phrase offline. Every token you buy lives in that wallet and never leaves it. Lose the phrase and the bag is gone, because nobody can recover it for you.

   Zodl generates a new address after every transaction. Old and new belong to the same wallet tree, so nothing is lost if you misplace one.

3. 03

   Buy, then sell

   Buying. Set a refund address first, shielded or transparent. The platform gives you a deposit address and an exact amount. Send exactly that amount. After three to five confirmations the token appears in your portfolio.

   Selling. Enter a receiver address. Your ZEC arrives there once the order fills.

   Orders fill in whole lots of 12,500 tokens. That is why the amounts look the way they do.

4. 04

   Wait it out

   Orders settle a few blocks after they are quoted, so the price can move in between. A fill worse than the quote is normal here. Orders are all or nothing: they fill completely or they refund, never partially.

   A single trade can take five minutes to two hours depending on how busy the network is.

   If a trade has not appeared yet, it is almost certainly still waiting for blocks. Check your portfolio before assuming anything went wrong.
